Dear Family,
Babs celebrates 16 years in the size acceptance
movement and to honor this great feat we are
throwing the biggest Summer Jam everrrrrrr!
This Summer Jam
as in others you will be required to pay a first
night non-refundable deposit. Your credit card
will be charged the first night
non-refundable deposit at time of reservation!
This policy will be strictly monitored to insure
all who want to attend can.
Again let me
make this clear family. When you call the
hotel and reserve a room under the
Babs Summer Jam room block your credit card will
be charged a one night room
deposit.
The one night up-front non-refundable deposit will
be deducted from your credit card immediately.
There will be no more holding rooms until you
decide if you really want to attend.
Why this policy?
The reason for this procedure is simple. Folks
call up and book two, three rooms or more with a
bogus credit card and then last minute cancel or
simply no show!
This leaves the hotel with empty
rooms that they must sell at a higher price to
re-coup any loss. Primarily Babs members suffer
because they will pay a higher room rate or
find themselves sitting in the
overflow hotel for absolutely no reason!
The hotel has a few hundred rooms so this policy
will be
strictly monitored to insure as many people as possible fit
under one roof!
Please remember this will be the first Summer Jam
in the tri-state area in 8 years.
imagine the possibilities!
Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan and all of
Jersey will be in the house so we won’t be playing
the room game!
You have one entire year to budget
and plan.
Put in your vacation days now and don’t
be left out of the greatest event in Babs history!

are still in the planning stage.
